About the Course

The N.O. C.A.P.: Teen Opioid Prevention and Wellness Course is a 3-CEU professional training designed to educate and empower those who work with teens on the risks of opioid use while providing practical strategies for prevention and wellness. Built on the N.O. C.A.P. framework (Nurture, Orient, Connect, Activate, Power), this course takes a holistic approach by addressing substance misuse alongside the emotional, social, and behavioral factors that influence teen decision-making. Participants will gain knowledge about opioid risks, the life-saving role of Narcan (naloxone), and best practices for equipping teens with coping skills, resilience strategies, and the confidence to make safe and healthy choices. Through evidence-based instruction and real-world applications, learners will be prepared to integrate opioid prevention and wellness practices into their professional roles. Upon completion, participants will earn a Certificate of Completion and receive 3 Continuing Education Credits (CEs) approved by NAADAC.
